255. Skull At Play

Temporarily Modified Street Sign. I've been passing by this sign for ages thinking it had skull potential. The new elements were made of paper and attached with double stick tape. The park it references has been closed for over a year (I don't think it ever had a seesaw), so the sign is actually more accurate like this. But no, it was not left this way after I took the photo.

If you had left it on, I bet people would have thought that playing in a seesaw is either poisonous, dagerous or may result in death.

This is probably my favorite one.

Knowing the story about that park and that it is fairly "dead in the water" right now LOL..... I think this sign is accurate.

I have passed this point every day for a year and never noticed the sign! Neat

That looks like my kind of play ground!

Maybe if you'd left the sign that way it would have compelled the relevant authorities to finally remove the sign.

Is that a standard sign in your part of the world? We don't have them in the UK. I can see this acting as inspiration for some people. I know I'd be tempted if I was walking along & I had a roll of gaffer tape with me.

I agree - you totally should have left it that way. and done it with plastic tape, so that it lasts longer. I bet no one would notice it, what with their crackberries and blue teeth and geepee-esses and vente lattes. . .
